About The Position
The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer with React and Python experience to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance. Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance is seeking to hire highly skilled individuals to support mission critical projects within the Navy. We are looking for motivated individuals to lead and support digital transformation, data science and analytics, and automation projects for variety of Navy clients. Individuals must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements and technologies. Using your comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to support Navy mission owners in their digital transformation journey. Location: San Diego, CA Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Requirements
- Excellent problem solver
- Experienced in React 15+ and Typescript
- Python experience a must
- Takes pride in writing clean reusable code
- At least one major project involving React under your belt
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases or data platforms.
- Experience with data analysis, including data exploration, statistical analysis, or business intelligence.
- Understanding of frontend development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Secret clearance
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years' React experience
- 3+ years' experience leading development teams
- Experienced in Scrum
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
- Experience with a static typed language such as C#, C, C++, or Java
- Experience working on both Front-End and Back-End technologies such as web frameworks and databases
- Bachelors' or higher in CS or related field
