Senior Software Developer
About The Position
Stefanini Group is seeking a Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer to join its Order Management engineering organization. The role designs, develops, and enhances solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform, supporting end-to-end commerce capabilities including order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, inventory visibility, payments, returns, and customer care workflows. The developer configures and extends OMS modules and workflows, builds integrations, customizes Sterling Order Hub and Next Gen Call Center, and helps ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and high quality. The role also participates in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on IBM Sterling OMS development experience.
- Expertise in participant modeling and process modeling for sales, returns, exchanges, drop ship, and transfer orders.
- Expertise in sourcing, inventory management, payment processing, agents, event-driven automation, and background jobs.
- Expertise in catalog, pricing/repricing, and tax recalculations.
- Strong Java development skills, including modern versions, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integrations.
- Solid SQL and data troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with containerized OMS environments.
- Strong focus on code quality and unit testing, using JUnit/Mockito or similar.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Angular, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Docker, CI/CD concepts, or XSL transformations for OMS customizations.
- Exposure to React or TypeScript.
