About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for an IBM Sterling OMS Developer (Remote). We are seeking a Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer to join the Order Management engineering organization. Designing, developing, and enhancing solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform, supporting end-to-end commerce capabilities such as order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, inventory visibility, payments, returns, and customer care workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling OMS development experience
• Strong expertise in Participant Modeling
• Strong expertise in Process Modeling (Sales, Returns, Exchanges, Drop Ship, Transfer Orders)
• Strong expertise in Sourcing, Inventory Management, Payment Processing
• Strong expertise in Agents, event-driven automation, background jobs
• Strong expertise in Catalog, Pricing/Repricing, and tax recalculations
• Strong Java development skills (modern versions, OOP, design patterns)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integrations
• Solid SQL and data troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with containerized OMS environments
• Strong focus on code quality and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito or similar)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions on IBM Sterling OMS
• Configure and extend OMS core modules and workflows
• Build and support integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Customize Sterling Order Hub and Next Gen Call Center
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
