About The Position

The Senior Software Developer will use full-stack expertise to build and modernize Uline.com, a business-critical web platform serving customers across North America. The role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, address complex engineering challenges, and develop reliable, high-performing solutions at enterprise scale. The developer provides technical leadership, mentors colleagues, and collaborates with teams across Uline to improve the customer experience. The position is based on-site at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of software development experience, including developing web or eCommerce applications using .NET, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch, or Dynatrace.
Experience with data integration tools such as NiFi.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and modernize large-scale web applications, influencing the architecture and technical direction of Uline.com.
Contribute to project planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews for complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
Partner with teams across Uline to improve application performance and deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Mentor and coach developers, provide technical guidance, and help resolve engineering challenges.
Explore and apply AI-powered solutions and emerging technologies, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, and vector search, as part of ongoing modernization.
