About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC2) Program in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports software development, integration, testing, and Mission Transfer capabilities for an advanced ground-based radar system supporting the Department of Defense's Space Domain Awareness mission. The selected candidate will develop, modify, integrate, test, and troubleshoot mission software used to detect, track, and characterize space objects. A primary focus is Mission Transfer: the coordinated handoff of responsibility for tracking a space object from one DARC radar site to another while maintaining mission and track continuity across the distributed radar architecture. The developer will work with software, radar, systems engineering, integration, test, cybersecurity, and operations teams on multi-site radar operations, track-data exchange, sensor coordination, and continuity of tracking between geographically separated sites. The role requires substantial C++ experience as well as Python and Java development skills, experience with complex and distributed software systems, and the ability to work in Linux/RHEL environments. The position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and may require travel of up to 25%. An active U.S. Government Secret clearance is required, with the ability to maintain it and obtain any additional program-specific accesses.

Requirements
