Senior Software Developer - Unity

As a member of the engineering team at A Thinking Ape, you will play a crucial role in the development of our mobile games. You will collaborate closely with engineers, artists, and game designers to contribute to all aspects of product development. Your responsibilities will include evolving the architecture of our mobile application, implementing new features and tools, and optimizing our newest game. This role offers the opportunity to make your own decisions and shape the Unity development practice within the company. • Evolving the architecture of the mobile application
• Contributing new features, tools, and optimizations to the newest game
• Architecting, implementing, and releasing large-scale mobile games in Unity
• Prototyping new ideas quickly and polishing validated ideas
• Shaping Unity development practice throughout the company
• Building front-end systems for massively multiplayer mobile games
• Creating tools to automate and optimize processes across disciplines
• Participating in every aspect of product development
• Leading the technical investigation, implementation, release, and iteration of solutions to large scale product and technical problems

• Extensive track record architecting, implementing, and releasing large-scale mobile games in Unity
• Several years' experience post-grad in a professional setting
• Ability to prototype new ideas quickly and polish validated ideas to perfection
• Willingness to shape Unity development practice throughout the company
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for mobile gaming products
