This role focuses on semiconductor equipment automation and integration with MES, specifically involving SECS/GEM equipment communication. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing equipment-to-host interfaces, developing station controllers, and creating automated finite state machines and workflows. A key aspect of the role involves data collection over SECS/GEM and validating equipment and MES processes. Proficiency in Inductive Automation Ignition, including tag design, UDTs, tag naming conventions, and Perspective web user interface, is essential. General web programming skills (HTML, CSS), REST API experience, and Python (Jython) scripting are also required. Understanding of MES fundamentals, including modeling automation setups and executing remote transactions, is necessary. Experience with Siemens Opcenter EX SM is preferred.
