Senior Software and Architecture Engineer
About The Position
We are looking to hire a Senior Software and Architecture Engineer on the East Coast to be part of a green field product. The product is for an Continuous Threat Exposure management platform, collecting complex data sets using a combination of open source and in house tooling to provide meaningful information to our penetration testing teams and clients. We're looking for a range of skills and knowledge, as the project spans the disciplines of security and development. The existing services use Django Python and React TypeScript being hosted upon AWS, with more services to build. At OccamSec, we're looking for developers who have an appetite for learning, an interest in cyber security and strong communication skills. You will be taking part in designing and implementing solutions and tooling for the CTEM platform, with strong collaboration between the penetration and engineering teams to ensure the tools built are effective and provide meaningful information for our assessment teams in the field.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Django
- Candidates will need a strong understanding of Django.
- Experience with Django Rest Framework
- Experience with Python Ecosystem
- Experience with Typescript/Javascript (React)
- Experience with Relational Databases (Postgres)
- Experience with AWS (EC2/EBS/Lambda/ECS)
Nice To Haves
- Interest in picking up or experience with different languages is therefore a plus.
- Experience with a range of programming languages
- Experience with API Design and documentation
- Experience with message processing and queueing systems
- Experience using penetration testing tools (Nuclei, NMAP, etc)
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism
