About The Position

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for supporting the methodologies needed to create and sustain an unforgettable social media experience for The Villages. This position works with the digital and photo/video teams to develop online and social interaction strategies to enhance The Villages relationship building endeavors. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Full Time, On Site Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or technical school; or ten (10) years of related digital marketing and/or social media management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires strong analytical and project management skills, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, and demonstrable knowledge with social media and content planning platforms.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and servant leadership skills. Must be able to confidently and effectively communicate orally, in writing and electronically.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing leadership and content development teams to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with organizational and account goals and target audience preferences.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social media strategies to promote brand awareness, engage followers, and drive website traffic and conversions.
  • Utilize analytics tools to analyze and evaluate the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support the development and execution of content strategies that engage target audiences and drive desired actions, including content creation, distribution, and promotion.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, and assist in incorporating them into strategies and tactics as appropriate.
  • Work closely with internal customers and accounts to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Contribute to maintaining consistency in brand messaging and imagery across all digital marketing channels and assets.
  • Measure and track responses to changes in programming using analytic software (ex: Google Analytics) and other tools; creating analysis reports, KPIs and dashboards that communicate the overall digital strategy success, performance and impact on the marketing objectives.
  • Attend special meetings, educational sessions and assist leadership in ongoing training of team members as asked.
  • Assist the Digital Team in their overall initiative as requested.
