About The Position

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms and ServiceNow. The position focuses on automating security operations workflows, improving vulnerability management processes, and ensuring seamless data exchange between security tools and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has experience building and supporting enterprise security integrations and collaborating with security, infrastructure, and IT service management teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in security engineering, automation, systems integration, or SOAR engineering
Experience integrating enterprise platforms through APIs and automation solutions
Experience with ServiceNow workflows, data models, and integrations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Hands-on experience implementing or supporting a SOAR-to-ServiceNow rollout and integrating security incidents, alerts, cases, or response workflows
Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and integrating platforms like Tenable and/or Qualys

Nice To Haves

Experience with Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, or similar platforms
Python scripting and automation experience
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and web services
Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB, and workflow automation concepts
ServiceNow, security, or cloud certifications
Experience in enterprise-scale security operations environments

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between SOAR platforms and ServiceNow
Build and support automated workflows that synchronize incidents, alerts, tasks, and remediation activities
Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and automation frameworks
Partner with Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, and IT Service Management teams to streamline processes
Troubleshoot and resolve integration, workflow, and data synchronization issues
Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration diagrams, and operational procedures
Support platform upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and operational requirements
Identify opportunities to automate manual security and IT workflows
