The Senior Site Reliability Engineer designs and architects infrastructure and services to support reliability and functionality, forecasts demand and addresses capacity needs, and collaborates with software development teams to build reliable, scalable infrastructure. The role collects operational data, supports incident response and maintenance, reports on service health and performance, identifies automation opportunities, communicates service changes and their potential impact, documents incidents, and evaluates new tools and site reliability trends. The position administers Windows Server and Linux systems across production and non-production environments. It carries out structured builds and deployments, application installation and validation, environment-readiness checks, patching, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-related configuration. The engineer investigates operating system, application, service, connectivity, and deployment issues using logs and diagnostic tools; supports cloud-hosted infrastructure; and participates in incident response, root-cause analysis, service restoration, scheduled maintenance, after-hours support, or on-call rotation as required. The role also maintains technical documentation, runbooks, implementation records, validation results, and escalation notes, while seeking ways to automate recurring work and improve operational processes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience, plus at least three years of relevant technical experience. Oracle lists a U.S. hiring range of $81,100–$187,000 per annum; the role may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
