About The Position

As the Senior Site Procurement Leader, you will be the strategic architect of our site’s supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement of materials essential to the production process, ensuring that the supply chain is perfectly synchronized with manufacturing demands and sourcing rules. This role requires a high-impact leader who can balance day-to-day operational execution with long-term strategic planning. You will oversee a dedicated purchasing team, drive digital transformation through SAP, and implement continuous improvement applying lean methodologies and tools to optimize costs and inventory health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • Major experience in manufacturing / supply chain environment
  • Previous experience with procurement / purchasing management
  • Ability to lead, manage and communicate with all levels of the business

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Leadership: Manage and lead all material procurement activities to ensure seamless alignment with production schedules, planning requirements and inventory targets.
  • Systems & Data Management: Leverage SAP to generate daily management reports, proactively identifying risks to prevent manufacturing disruptions or "stock-outs."
  • Performance Excellence: Establish, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence and ensure all department targets are met.
  • Inventory Optimization: Partner with the production and materials planning teams to manage inventory health, ensuring optimal stock levels that balance production needs with financial efficiency.
  • Team Management: Define operational workflows and routines for the purchasing team, ensuring clarity of roles and high productivity.
  • Talent Development: Manage human resources within the department, including performance evaluations, career development, and hiring/promotion recommendations, while fostering a culture aligned with company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide strategic and operational support to the logistics, warehousing and production planning teams to ensure end-to-end supply chain fluidity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Research and implement process optimization and rationalization strategies to enhance operational efficiency; present business cases for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the department’s long-term strategic roadmap and the definition of organizational goals.
  • Operational Flexibility: Execute additional related tasks and special projects as directed by leadership.
