The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams. As Senior Site Director, you will lead one of Post Consumer Brands’ most visible, high‑performing pet food manufacturing sites. This is not a turnaround assignment. Instead, it’s an opportunity to build on a strong foundation; taking a lean, high‑volume, highly automated operation and helping it reach its next level of performance. In this role, you’ll shape site strategy and culture while driving excellence across performance, safety, and people development. You’ll operate within a direct‑flow system where reliability is critical and expectations are high, with regular exposure to senior leadership and customers, offering both meaningful challenge and exceptional visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management or related field
  • At least 5 years leading a food or consumer packaged goods manufacturing site
  • Strong foundation in food safety, quality systems, and employee safety
  • Success operating lean, automated environments with limited changeover complexity
  • A steady, decisive leader and strong problem solver
  • Demonstrated commitment to people development and leadership bench strength
  • Financial and operational acumen, including budgeting experience
  • Mobility and readiness for future leadership growth

Responsibilities

  • Provide full site leadership for a high‑volume manufacturing operation with a strong performance foundation
  • Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, service, and cost in a highly automated environment
  • Develop and coach a strong leadership team, with emphasis on succession planning and knowledge transfer
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to unlock additional capacity and performance
  • Serve as a highly visible leader to senior leadership and customers
  • Foster a culture that balances accountability, trust, and employee development
  • Partner cross‑functionally to ensure seamless execution and long‑term operational stability
