About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking Senior Silicon Validation Engineers to validate its GPUs and SOCs. The role contributes to products spanning data center computing, gaming, high-performance computing, and self-driving cars. Engineers work across micro-architecture, design, verification, implementation, and post-silicon validation to help advance NVIDIA’s computing platforms.

Requirements

BS or MS in EE, ECE, CS, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of proven experience.
Strong fundamentals in debugging methodologies and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to post-silicon bring-up and validation, and familiarity with production flows.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive issues to closure.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work as a standout colleague.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience diagnosing complex issues at the intersection of hardware and software.
A holistic perspective that considers trade-offs among functional, power, and performance criteria.
Background using lab equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

Validate processors for deep learning, gaming, and high-performance computing.
Understand chip design and implementation and apply that knowledge to bring-up and productization.
Manage validation of chip features and lead debugging of observations on silicon.
Work cross-functionally with ASIC, software, system, characterization, and ATE teams.
