About The Position

IntelliDyne is looking for a hands-on technical manager capable of leading a highly talented team on daily IT operations and project progress while developing solutions and leading development teams that exceed customer expectations. The Project Manager possesses SharePoint skills and is responsible for managing the Division's Information Technology (IT) and IT Security Program. This objective is to provide a wide range of IT business solutions to its customers, providing secure, reliable, and highly available IT business solutions to fulfill program requirements, serving a few thousand end-users located within the Washington, DC area. The Project Manager will provide effective enterprise-level support and services which provide the Government customer with the resources needed to achieve its operational objectives. The qualified candidate must be capable of performing management duties that cover the scope of this job description whenever needed. The SharePoint Project Manager will assist the Government client in the requirements, analysis, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Enterprise SharePoint projects. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for the SharePoint team and serve as subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science (or related field)
  • Minimum 10 years administrating SharePoint farms on premise or SharePoint Online (O365).
  • 7+ years in application support, IT operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years managing teams of 10+
  • PMP Certification
  • CSM Certification
  • Experience coordinating data migrations, form, site and content creation and changes, including integration with other systems.
  • Experience creating, deleting, and managing SharePoint sites.
  • Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience managing site-wide organizational settings and permissions.
  • Experience creating new sites in SharePoint Online (O365) and migrating existing data from on premise SharePoint into standardized site-wide format.
  • Strong experience with front-end website development.
  • Strong experience with leading development and support teams that are focused on SharePoint, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
  • Experience with any type of SharePoint Records or Document Management system
  • SharePoint Feature/Apps installation and development, migration, integration, testing and troubleshooting;
  • Managing and administrating SharePoint servers in the Azure/O365 cloud
  • Installing/upgrading the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries
  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet;
  • Providing SharePoint support and end-user training
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data
  • Installing features and add-ons to SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Division's Information Technology (IT) and IT Security Program.
  • Assist the Government client in the requirements, analysis, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Enterprise SharePoint projects.

  • Lead development and support teams focused on SharePoint, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
  • Install and develop SharePoint Features/Apps, perform migration, integration, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and administer SharePoint servers in the Azure/O365 cloud.
  • Install/upgrade the SharePoint platform, integrate applications, and create libraries.
  • Perform maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
  • Provide SharePoint support and end-user training.
  • Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Ensure sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Install features and add-ons to SharePoint.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and work with each one on improvement areas while offering continual support to each engineer’s personal and professional development goals.
  • Oversee activities on the IT Operations team and keep projects moving while maintaining a strict focus on operational continuity.
  • Provide oversight for remote and on-site support until incidents are resolved.
  • Provide a root cause and mitigation analysis post-incident within 24 hours.
  • Cross-train or mentor team members.
  • Provide instruction as needed but not micro-manage team members.
  • Understand the big picture, problem, or goal; create 50% of the solution independently; work with engineers to finalize a plan of action; and participate at an engineering and operational level as needed (i.e. fill gaps in expertise on project).
