Mouser.com is an award-winning website that features more than 6.8 million products online from more than 1,200 leading manufacturers. The Senior SEO Specialist is responsible for reviewing reports to identify and drive SEO initiatives and campaigns, determining strategies for maximum SEO optimization opportunities, and researching, identifying, and implementing changes on key landing pages for organic ranking success. This role involves driving direction for targeting, assigning URLs, and metadata before content creation, and determining how and where to conduct targeted keyword research. The specialist will also initiate the building and maintenance of reports and dashboards for SEO best practices, document industry trends, and develop Mouser and ecommerce business acumen. Administrative duties within the SEO department, including scheduling meetings, organizing presentations, researching new opportunities, and coordinating global communications, are also part of the role. The Senior SEO Specialist will set regular meetings with external teams to align objectives and gather insights, demonstrate extensive Mouser business acumen, and develop and implement global strategies for SEO & SEM collaboration. They will also schedule and host meetings with the SEO Team and external members for knowledge sharing, research, evaluate, and recommend external tools for efficiency, lead peers in skill development, and drive continuous improvements in SEO best practices. Identifying, determining, and implementing the building and maintenance of reports using search platform data and additional sources, and serving as a team subject matter expert are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Google Search Console, Lighthouse, Similarweb, BrightEdge, Conductor, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Understanding of SEO guidelines, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational, and teaching skills.
  • Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
  • Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate.
  • Contributes to improvements in processes (technical or business) used by multiple departments.
  • Strong experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to set and track goals.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or work experience.
  • 6+ years SEO experience required.

Responsibilities
