About The Position

Full Funnel Growth is a remote performance marketing agency specializing in SEO and AI search programs for various clients including medical aesthetics device manufacturers, DTC eCommerce brands, regulated retail, lead generation for service businesses, and B2B SaaS. The role requires a strategic and execution-focused individual who can manage technical audits, content strategy, local and international optimization across English, French, and Spanish markets. The agency operates "AI-natively," integrating AI tools like Claude Code and Python scripts into their daily workflows for precise data analysis and deliverable generation. This is a part-time contract position for someone already proficient in both traditional SEO and AI-driven search (AEO), or very close to it.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in SEO, with at least two years at an agency owning client relationships and strategy independently.
  • Deep technical SEO fluency: site architecture, crawl optimization, structured data and schema implementation, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, and indexation management.
  • Demonstrated AEO work: optimized content, site architecture, or off-property authority specifically for AI answer engines, with demonstrable approach and results.
  • Strong command of the SEO toolstack: Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush, and schema validation tools.
  • Demonstrated work across both eCommerce and lead gen SEO.
  • Content strategy depth: topical authority maps, entity-first content architectures, and briefs serving both SERP and AI citation.
  • Local SEO experience: GBP management, local landing pages, citation building, and multi-location strategy.
  • Proven track record of remote work with strong written communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking directly with CMOs and directors of marketing.
  • Ability to read or write Python for SEO tasks (e.g., pulling Search Console data, running crawl analysis, parsing structured data, monitoring AI citation).
  • Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable agentic tools as part of a daily workflow for SEO automation.
  • Understanding of how LLMs source, rank, and cite web content, with a working model of AI sourcing and authority compounding.
  • Staying current on platform-level changes (Google algorithm updates, AI Overviews, AI Mode expansion, and citation behavior of ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini).
  • Discipline in writing, with a practice of labeling claims as extracted, inferred, or assumed, and using exact numbers.

Nice To Haves

  • Vertical depth in medical aesthetics, DTC eCommerce on Shopify, regulated retail (cannabis, alcohol), or B2B SaaS.
  • International SEO experience: hreflang, multi-language site architecture, and market-specific search behavior.
  • Programmatic SEO or large-scale content automation experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution tools (GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam) and how SEO fits into multi-touch attribution models.
  • CMS familiarity: Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix.
  • Looker Studio comfort, or willingness to inherit dashboards.
  • Paid search literacy, understanding how paid and organic interact on SERPs and AI answers.

Responsibilities

  • Organic search and AI discoverability strategy for 3-5 client accounts across eCommerce, lead gen, and multi-location businesses.
  • Technical SEO including site architecture, crawl efficiency, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, JavaScript rendering, and indexation management.
  • AI search visibility optimization, focusing on building authority across the citation ecosystem, optimizing entities and content for AI sourcing, implementing LLM.txt, and understanding platform-specific AI citation strategies.
  • Content strategy development based on search intent, entity relationships, and topical authority to serve traditional SERPs, AI answer surfaces, and off-property sources.
  • Local SEO for multi-location clients, including Google Business Profile optimization, local landing page strategy, review management, and local citation/link building.
  • Reporting and client communication, including weekly write-ups, monthly summaries, and direct calls with marketing leadership.
  • Proactive identification of opportunities such as content gaps, competitor movements, algorithm shifts, SERP feature changes, and AI citation gaps.
