Diodes Incorporated is seeking Experienced Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technicians interested in nightshift to join our South Portland Maine Facility. These positions require a flexible schedule, and the willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, with 3 days on/3 days off. Nightshift provides a 15% shift differential on top of the base pay with working hours: 6:00pm to 6:00am. Initial work hours may involve daytime training, 8:00am to 5:00pm, 5 days per week for 10 to 52 weeks. Work is performed within a clean room environment that requires the wearing of a smock, hood, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses. Position may require the use of airline respirators and may require occasional wearing of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, aprons, gauntlets, and full-face masks. Requires standing for up to 75% of shift and lifting of objects that weigh up to 50 lbs. May require work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and high voltage. Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for multiple activities in support of manufacturing, focusing on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, and continuous improvements. These repairs and procedures are performed in an environment where toxic gas, acids, solvents, high voltage, and kinetic energy hazards may exist. Candidate must be comfortable working around chemicals in a fast-paced industrial setting.
