This role involves owning area performance, priorities, and staffing to achieve daily manufacturing goals. The Supervisor will lead shift coverage for maintenance, process, and manufacturing issues, and prioritize/coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities. The position requires managing constraint tools and resources to maximize factory output, and owning manufacturing metrics such as utilization, cycle time, holds, scrap, cost, and equipment availability. The role also includes driving scrap containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, ensuring execution of quality systems (PM compliance, tool qualifications, SPC, FDC, 5S), and managing area escalations related to parts, engineering support, priority lots, and operational risks. Additionally, the Supervisor will own training matrix development and cross-training plans, support test wafer management and operational readiness, and participate in operations reviews, cost reduction activities, continuous improvement projects, and maintenance system enhancements. The role may require serving as Operations Section Manager backup and ensuring compliance with all Safety, OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations. Performance management, development of direct reports, and communication of business performance and goals are also key aspects of this position.
