Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise semantic models using Tabular Editor, deployed to Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Premium capacity.
  • Develop measures, KPIs, calculation groups, and supporting metadata using advanced DAX, including query performance optimization.
  • Apply dimensional modeling and enterprise BI standards — star schema, conformed dimensions, and reusable certified measures.
  • Design and optimize SQL views and analytical objects in the enterprise data warehouse to support semantic models.
  • Design and implement Row-Level Security using role-based and attribute-based patterns, and manage security group mappings in line with institutional governance standards.
  • Manage the full model lifecycle — development, version control, testing, deployment, refresh management, and performance monitoring.
  • Support CI/CD-style promotion of models across Development, Test, and Production environments in collaboration with platform teams.
  • Partner with report developers, analysts, and data scientists to ensure correct and efficient use of enterprise models.
  • Contribute to enterprise initiatives including centralized KPI repositories, governed metrics, and AI-ready semantic layers.
