About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team at IRCC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics and Azure platforms. This role is essential for transforming data into actionable insights, thereby supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Azure platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and DAX language.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Current Secret is required at time of application

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Integrate data from various sources, including Microsoft Dynamics and Azure, to create comprehensive and accurate reporting solutions.
• Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and report design.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI reports and dashboards, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and enhancements, applying them to improve reporting capabilities.
