About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a technical leader to define, craft, implement, and guide Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) architecture and implementation for NIC and DPU products. The role is hands-on and involves working with teams across NVIDIA and external partners to meet security requirements for Confidential Computing products. The architect will research and develop secure platform solutions, apply security primitives, and guide Confidential Computing design across hardware, software, research, and product teams. The work includes architectural modeling and validation, microarchitectural definition, standards engagement, and development of infrastructure for trusted platforms using hardware security methods. The role also involves identifying security issues and threats with customers and partners, and extending the CJDNS networking protocol with fully distributed key management.

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on work experience with Trusted Execution technologies such as AMD SEV, Intel TDX, or Intel SGX at both hardware and software levels.
  • Direct experience with computing platform security, threat models and mitigation techniques, and/or Trusted Execution Environments and isolation techniques for establishing trust.
  • Experience profiling and modeling isolation architectures and evaluating secure-system performance.
  • Familiarity with Trusted Computing attestation methods and their application in overlay mesh networks.
  • Programming and debugging fundamentals across languages and tools such as Verilog, Python/Perl scripting, ARM assembly, and C/C++.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaboration-oriented team, with strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
  • Understanding of secure device management fundamentals over MCTP and programming interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and implement architectural solutions that meet internal and external security requirements and standards.
  • Apply innovative security primitives to enable next-generation secure platforms.
  • Collaborate across NVIDIA to guide Confidential Computing design for DPU and NIC products with hardware, software, research, and product teams.
  • Perform architectural modeling and validation, define microarchitecture, follow standards bodies, and develop infrastructure for trusted platforms using hardware security methods.
  • Work with customers and partners to identify and address security issues and threats.
  • Extend the CJDNS networking protocol and bind it with fully distributed key management.
