About The Position

The Senior Security Operations Engineer will serve as the senior technical anchor for the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves leading detection and response efforts during shifts, utilizing a SentinelOne-integrated SIEM, managing the TCH-governed PKI certificate lifecycle, operating the Fusion Firewall threat-intelligence feed, and integrating with blockchain-intelligence providers like Chainalysis, TRM Labs, and Elliptic. The company, Quant, is a global leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, providing programmable money infrastructure that enables banks to issue, move, and settle tokenized deposits securely and efficiently. Their technology is deployed in regulated environments with central and commercial banks worldwide, including work on the digital pound and digital euro. Quant's technology powers The Clearing House's On-Chain Money Initiative, a new interoperable payments network for financial institutions. Through their Tokenized Deposits-as-a-Service solution, banks of any size can participate without building new infrastructure. The network is expected to be available in the first half of 2027, with use cases in corporate treasury, liquidity management, cross-border payments, and digital asset settlement. The company is building a New York team to run this initiative.

Requirements

• 5+ years in security operations or engineering, including SOC shift experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR platforms (SentinelOne or equivalent) and PKI operations.
• Familiarity with blockchain-intelligence tooling (Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic or equivalent).

Nice To Haves

• Relevant security certification (e.g. GIAC, CISSP track) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead security monitoring, detection, and triage during the shift across SentinelOne and the Fusion Firewall.
• Own day-to-day operation of the TCH-governed PKI certificate lifecycle.
• Operate and tune the blockchain-intelligence provider integrations per TCH's election (Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic).
• Join joint bridges with Platform Reliability for combined security-and-availability Severity 1 events.
• Mentor Security Operations Engineers on-shift.
