About The Position

This role involves acting as a Senior Security Consultant, focusing on GDPR, Cybersecurity, and Privacy. The individual will be responsible for data discovery across structured and unstructured data sources, and must be familiar with data encryption, obfuscation, and masking technologies for data in use, in transit, and in test environments. The position requires an architect-level understanding to design and drive solutions, rather than direct implementation. Key areas of responsibility include Security Assurance & Compliance, Security Consulting, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Security Engineering.

Requirements

  • Experience with data discovery for structured (transaction DBs, Hadoop) and unstructured data (file systems, SharePoint, document repositories).
  • Familiarity with data encryption, obfuscation, and masking for data in use, in transit, and test technologies.
  • Architect-level understanding to architect and drive solutions, not necessarily implement them.
  • Knowledgeable about the ISMS (Information Security Management System).
  • Experience in solution architecture design.
  • Experience leading security efforts for IAM solution integration and initial implementation.
  • Experience as an IAM subject matter expert.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and vendors to deliver IAM roadmaps.
  • Experience promoting IAM Programs and understanding stakeholder requirements.
  • Experience in security engineering.
  • Experience building, designing, and executing analysis and tools for process improvements.
  • Experience managing and directing others in security analysis and issue resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • ISEB in Data Protection, CISMP or CIPP certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance and management audits.
  • Develop audit plans for allocated audit assignments.
  • Contribute to contract compliance work.
  • Decide and report audit findings.
  • Suggest corrective actions.
  • Track findings from previous audits through to closure.
  • Provide advice and guidance about Security matters to one or more significant accounts or to a large delivery center.
  • Train people up to senior levels in Security and control matters.
  • Participate in solution architecture design and lead security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of IAM solutions.
  • Serve as the IAM subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing advisory and consulting services as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders and vendors to deliver the IAM roadmap in a phased and iterative approach.
  • Work internally with various stakeholders to promote the IAM Program, and to understand their requirements, enterprise IT standards, and other considerations that influence how IAM solutions and services should perform and consistently operate.
  • Ensure that people who provide information for Security purposes are made aware of the outcome of its analysis and use.
  • Build, design, and execute the analysis and tools required to drive process improvements on discrete projects or accounts.
  • Manage and direct others in the use of techniques to analyze and resolve Security issues.
