About The Position

CACI is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate Agile execution, focus on team-level dynamics, remove operational roadblocks, and coach the engineering team on DevSecOps culture to maintain a high-velocity development cycle. The role serves as a servant leader, enabling delivery of high-quality software increments while supporting the Product Owner with backlog clarity, prioritization, and value alignment. The Senior Scrum Master supports team-level delivery flow and sprint execution, coordinates with Product Owners and technical leads, and strengthens alignment between business needs and technical execution. The role fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams and coaches them toward maturity, accountability, and continuous improvement. It also ensures transparency, supports conflict resolution, and reinforces Agile principles.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Proficiency in tracking and interpreting Agile metrics.
Relevant certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), an equivalent Agile/Scrum certification, or PMP certification.

Nice To Haves

Strong coaching capability in DevSecOps culture and Agile methodologies.
Experience supporting Agile delivery in federal programs, cloud-based modernization efforts, DevSecOps programs, or multi-team Agile Release Trains.
Background facilitating cross-functional collaboration, readiness activities, and quality-focused delivery patterns.

Responsibilities

Facilitate team-level execution and standard Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with adjacent teams to manage dependencies and communicate team-level needs.
Identify, track, and actively remove impediments or obstacles that prevent the team from meeting sprint commitments.
Track, analyze, and report Agile metrics, such as team velocity, sprint burndown, and cycle time, alongside traditional service delivery metrics to provide government stakeholders visibility into team performance.
Protect engineering and development teams from outside distractions and scope creep to maintain focus on committed deliverables.
Coach the team on Agile practices and support adoption of DevSecOps principles.
Support the Agile team.
