About The Position
Supports agile project execution and operational delivery management across software development, infrastructure, and modernization activities. Responsible for sprint coordination, backlog management, agile governance, delivery tracking, stakeholder communication, and coordination across technical teams.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must Reside in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
- Must have a minimum of 10-years Experience
- Relevant federal IT experience, technical capability, and operational support experience aligned to assigned labor category.
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree (MA/MS)
- CSM, SAFe, PMP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned technical and operational duties supporting federal IT operations and modernization efforts
- Manages day-to-day activities of Scrum development teams, including daily stand-up meetings and backlog reviews.
- Facilitates the definition of acceptance criteria and tracks the completion of epics, stories, tasks, and bugs.
- Schedules and executes backlog reviews and team demonstrations.
- Communicates with product owners, and development teams regarding status of blockers, impediments, running agile meetings as required, and sprint planning sessions.
- Scrum Master, leads teams executing agile software development processes, has a knowledge of agile best practices and experience delivering agile solutions within the client's environment.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams of many sizes with diverse technical skills sets.
- Communicates project issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensures functional delivery iteratively respective to the team's cadence.
- Manages risks and impediments and ensures teams are enabled to deliver each iteration.
