About The Position
E-Logic is seeking a Senior Scientist to provide subject matter expertise supporting environmental contaminant chemistry, toxicity testing, fisheries biology, and scientific data validation activities for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s Office of Response & Restoration (OR&R) programs.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline
- Experience with environmental contaminant analysis
- Knowledge of toxicity testing and environmental assessment methodologies
Nice To Haves
- NOAA, CERCLA, OPA, or NRDA program experience
- Experience supporting environmental restoration efforts
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific review of environmental datasets
- Support contaminant chemistry and toxicity assessments
- Assist with QA/QC reviews and data interpretation
- Support development of technical recommendations
- Provide guidance on environmental standards and methodologies
