The In Vivo Pharmacology – Oncology group within the Department of Quantitative Biosciences (QB) is seeking a Senior Scientist with deep experience in cancer biology and in vivo models to join our Boston-based Discovery team. The successful candidate will be an experienced In Vivo cancer biologist who will be involved in hands-on work advancing oncology reverse-translational activities while serving as a key contributor in the conception and execution of Oncology drug discovery projects. This role will involve cross collaboration with Discovery Oncology teams at the Boston and South San Francisco sites, championing new technologies (e.g., spatial biology using novel multi-plex immunohistochemistry capabilities), and interfacing with our global pharmacology network. The successful applicant will also have the skill sets to work closely with teams in different functional area teams (e.g., Bioinformatics, Discovery Chemistry, and Discovery Biologics) in a highly matrixed system. The successful Senior Scientist candidate will: Directly contribute to reverse translational efforts through hands-on experimentation using preclinical models and ex vivo techniques (xenografts/GEMMS, etc.). Advance our Oncology pipeline through performing in vivo pharmacology studies, designed to deepen our understanding of PK/PD and efficacy relationships. Thrive in a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the QB/Pharmacology team, driving the development and adoption of new methodologies and technologies. Ensure compliance with company established practices and procedures, including laboratory notebooks, computer files, quality and regulatory guidelines, and safety standards.
