The Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead automated light-directed DNA synthesis platform for use in biomedical research and drug discovery. The Department of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead automated light-directed DNA synthesis platform for use in biomedical research and drug discovery. The ideal candidate will have a background in chemical, biomedical, or electrical engineering, with experience in optics/photolithography and microfluidics. The application of the platform will involve oligonucleotide synthesis for various functions. Useful previous experience may include but not limited to microarray technology, microfluidics, optics/microscopy, microfabrication, ink jet technology, and surface/materials science. Additional projects may include high-throughput screening and printing microarray technology using legacy instruments such as the Quanterix Microarrayers and light directed synthesizers. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.
Ten (10) years relevant work experience is required with Bachelor's degree.
Eight (8) years of relevant work experience is required with a Master's degree.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required with a PhD.
