About The Position

This position is responsible for delivering qualified candidates, creative recruiting strategies, and relationship-building approaches to clients and employees within the scientific/health community. The role focuses on recruiting for a variety of scientific and biomedical positions, including Clinical Research/Protocol Coordinators, Medical Officers, Clinical Advisors, Scientific Program Managers, Project Managers, Bioinformatics Scientists, Biologists, Scientists, and Lab Technicians. The recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, and will also support business development efforts by creating candidate pipelines and assisting with new recruitment opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience filling positions in the scientific or biomedical industry.
  • Individual must have experience recruiting for Biologists, Scientists, Lab Technicians, Clinical Advisors, Medical Officers, and other scientific related positions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) also required.
  • Must be able to pass company background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred but will consider candidates with High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
  • Experience working with various ATS and job boards
  • Strong sourcing fundamentals to include advanced Boolean and social media searches.
  • Familiarity with scientific terminology and disciplines.
  • Demonstrate high degree of agility and aptitude for working in ever-changing and, at times, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in proposal recruitment, incumbent capture, and achieving high production recruiting goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruiting and staffing positions for headquarters and government clients, focusing on scientific and biomedical positions.
  • Source and identify qualified applicants; conduct preliminary qualification screens to identify applicants that meet the job requirements.
  • Prequalify candidates in the interview process using up to date interview and recruitment methodologies.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to design and deliver recruitment strategies and conduct high volume full-cycle recruitment activities to ensure successful Talent Acquisition from a technical and cultural perspective.
  • Manage candidates through interview process and contract period, including but not limited to: Application, References (if requested), Interview Schedules, Meet & Greets, Offers, Onboarding, and Security Processing (as needed).
  • Assist the business development team on new recruitment opportunities.
  • Creating pipeline of candidates to meet existing and upcoming needs.
  • Maintain detailed candidate and requirement tracking/documentation.
  • Consult with Program Managers to identify clients’ technical skills needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to successfully place candidates; work with Program Managers to identify required core competencies to ensure successful long-term hires.
  • Develop and maintain network and relationships beneficial to recruitment goals.
  • Maintain responsibility for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics, and ensuring compliance with OFCCP; works with Talent Acquisition team to ensure annual Affirmative Action Plan goals are met.
  • Maintenance of applicants and candidates in the ATS and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork.
  • Provide communicative and professional information to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to recruitment process improvements and goals.
  • Participate in job fairs and trade shows as needed.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
