About The Position

TYLin is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) for its PMCM group to work on various rail and transit projects. The client requires four days onsite in Alexandria. The role involves developing and maintaining CPM schedules, reviewing contractor schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating with project personnel, clients, and consultants. The position offers a base compensation range of $150,000 to $180,000 annually, along with career development opportunities and a comprehensive total rewards package.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 8 years of construction project scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience with Rail and Transit projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of construction scheduling processes.
Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6.
Certifications with PMI or AACEI.

Responsibilities

Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel and incorporate plans into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6.
Review contractor-prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 and provide comments.
Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
Accurately track contractor work progress related to the schedule.
Maintain liaison with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Identify improvements to schedule procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.
