About The Position
The Senior SAP Project Systems Consultant designs, configures, and supports SAP Project Systems (PS) capabilities for federal clients, addressing complex project management and financial requirements. The role implements and enhances SAP PS structures—including WBS, Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirements Planning, Project Quotations, and Goods Issues—and ensures integration with CO, FI, MM, SD, and PP. The consultant works with architects, developers, technical services teams, and business stakeholders on functional design, testing, systems analysis, and solution delivery. The position coordinates across teams, contributes to technical specifications, supports project planning, and leads and mentors junior team members in a structured federal project environment. The position requires US citizenship with no dual citizenship, eligibility to obtain at least a Secret clearance, and either local residence in St. Louis, Missouri, or willingness to travel there weekly. The stated base pay range in specified jurisdictions is $92,700–$188,800 USD. Accenture Federal Services offers benefits, with details available through the employer’s benefits information.
Requirements
- 7+ years of SAP Project Systems experience.
- Team lead or supervisory experience.
- Experience translating business requirements into enterprise application designs.
- Experience preparing technical documentation and specifications.
- US citizenship; dual citizenship is not accepted.
- Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Secret clearance.
- Must live locally to St. Louis, Missouri, or be willing to travel to St. Louis every week.
- Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering efforts and design SAP PS solutions aligned with business process needs.
- Configure and support SAP PS structures, including WBS, Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, MRP, Project Quotations, and Goods Issues.
- Ensure integration across CO, FI, MM, SD, and PP.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure technical solutions meet functional requirements.
- Conduct business process design and system analysis activities.
- Coordinate work across architects, developers, BASIS, Middleware, Portal teams, and business analysts.
- Maintain, enhance, and develop SAP modules and related interfaces.
- Develop test strategies and manage large, complex testing efforts.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical designs.
- Prepare programming specifications, process diagrams, and logic documentation.
- Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning.
- Manage a team and provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.
