About The Position

The Senior SAP Presales Solutions Architect at Argano is a key contributor to the presales team, responsible for supporting the sales teams to drive SAP Public Cloud opportunities from initial discovery through solution design and proposal development. The role will provide advanced SAP product expertise and act as a “storyteller” by demonstrating complex solutions to existing and prospective clients. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud and the ability to develop and present product demonstrations. This role includes the ability to facilitate discovery sessions, conduct assessments, contribute to proposal responses, and maintain internal demo environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution business processes and can effectively translate business requirements into compelling SAP Public Cloud solution strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in an SAP presales, solutions architect, or technical sales role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud presales engagements.
  • Experience working in senior technical roles such as enterprise architect, solution architect, solution lead, functional team lead.
  • Proven success leading customer discovery sessions, workshops, assessments, and solution envisioning engagements.
  • Required experience supporting one or both of the following industries: Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution
  • Experience working directly with large-scale enterprise clients and/or supporting sales, and success teams.
  • Experience working in SAP projects that delivered the full lifecycle of analysis, design, software development, architecture, integration, testing and deployments.
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to explain technical details to clients and interface between functional business users and IT.
  • Product Demonstration: Proficiency in demonstrating SAP product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients.
  • Complex Solutions: Proficiency in evaluating and presenting complex, multi-product solutions. Solutions include SAP and associated software applications along with Argano services.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions. Ability to communicate with client executives to include C level, business users, IT team members, and a variety of client resources including shop floor, warehouse, administrative, etc.
  • Team collaboration Support: Ability to collaborate with other teams (mainly the sales team to help close deals and meet sales targets). Act as the bridge between sales activity and project delivery.
  • Solution Design: Ability to assist in solutioning and propose customized solutions based on client requirements and available SAP products.
  • Presentation Skills: Deliver engaging presentations to clients, effectively conveying the value of SAP and Argano’s services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Multitask: Ability to prioritize multiple pre-sales engagements at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead executive-level discovery workshops, business process assessments, and solution envisioning sessions to uncover customer priorities, pain points, and transformation objectives.
  • Serve as the SAP Public Cloud subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle, partnering closely with Client Executives and delivery leadership.
  • Design and deliver compelling demonstrations of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, showcasing industry best practices and business value.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate information gathering sessions for both product demonstration and functional scoping purposes.
  • Lead in-depth discussions with clients to understand their technical requirements and objectives.
  • Design and present high-impact, integrated SAP demonstrations that align with client needs and strategic goals.
  • Develop solution strategies tailored to customers within the Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution industries.
  • Provide technical insight for proposal responses, RFPs, and other documentation.
  • Build technical documentation, diagrams, demos and proofs of concept to support client solutions, with a consultative approach to identifying existing and prospective client needs and articulating Argano’s technical value proposition.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence.
  • Play a key role in getting to proof of value for the clients. Provide transition knowledge to Argano delivery teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with SAP to drive innovation and keep abreast of application changes and upgraded functionality.
  • Conduct advanced product training sessions for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with the entire pre-sales team to build and maintain an integrated Argano SAP demo environment.
