About The Position

Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented SAP NS2 HANA, S/4HANA and Analytics Senior Specialist, to join our team. This role involves providing operational support for highly available SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA landscapes, including system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. The specialist will also perform SAP HANA installation, revision upgrades, backup and recovery, system replication administration, tenant database management, user and role administration, security hardening, and system copy or refresh activities. Additionally, the role supports SAP NetWeaver ABAP and S/4HANA administration, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Analytics Cloud connectivity and integrations, and SAP HANA Smart Data Integration and Smart Data Access. The position requires understanding network infrastructure architecture, implementing and maintaining SSL/TLS certificates, developing operational procedures, and participating in incident response and change management. The ideal candidate will work independently, investigate unfamiliar issues, coordinate across various teams, and drive problems to resolution in regulated environments. There is a possibility of conversion to hire after 1 year.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA database administration and SAP Basis support.
Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SDI/Data Provisioning Agent integrations.
Experience supporting SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis, and cloud-connected SAP applications in enterprise environments.
Ability to work independently, investigate unfamiliar issues, coordinate across infrastructure, security, network, and application teams, and drive problems to resolution in regulated environments.
Must be a US Citizen and ONLY hold US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP HANA Studio or database explorer, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Focused Run for technical monitoring and alerting.
SAP HANA, SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Analytics Cloud certifications are strongly preferred.
Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for highly available SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA landscapes, including system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Perform SAP HANA installation, revision upgrades, backup and recovery, system replication administration, tenant database management, user and role administration, security hardening, and system copy or refresh activities using HDB backup and recovery methods.
Support SAP NetWeaver ABAP and S/4HANA administration, including kernel and support package maintenance, transport management, client administration, background jobs, RFC connections, spool administration, and application availability checks.
Administer and troubleshoot SAP Cloud Connector, including subaccount configuration, high availability, certificates, trust relationships, access control mappings, virtual host and port configuration, and connectivity between on-premise or private cloud systems and SAP BTP services.
Support SAP Analytics Cloud connectivity and integrations with SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA, including live connections, import connections, agent connectivity, authentication, certificates, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
Configure, operate, and troubleshoot SAP HANA Smart Data Integration and Smart Data Access, including Data Provisioning Agent installation and upgrades, remote source configuration, flowgraphs, replication tasks, subscriptions, adapters, and replication monitoring.
Diagnose SDI replication latency, failed tasks, connectivity issues, certificate problems, source or target database errors, and data consistency issues; coordinate with application and network teams through resolution.
Understand network infrastructure architecture including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, proxies, DMZs, private connectivity, and third-party cloud environments.
Implement and maintain SSL/TLS certificates, including certificate requests, deployment, renewal, trust-store maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure communication issues.
Develop and maintain operational procedures, architecture documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Participate in incident response, change management, disaster recovery exercises, capacity planning, and on-call support when required.
