About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Senior SAP Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for its Global Trade Services (GTS) workstream. Reporting to the Global Process Owner – Business Compliance, this position will lead and support GTS implementation projects, conduct gap analyses, provide ongoing project and production support, and contribute to Pentair’s multi-year global SAP S/4HANA migration initiative. The role partners with business stakeholders and SAP functional teams to analyze requirements and design, configure, develop, test, and maintain GTS solutions. It also contributes to end-to-end process design, integrations, testing, documentation, continuous improvement, and GTS process strategy. The position includes mentoring junior colleagues and sharing knowledge across the organization. This is a permanent, direct-hire, full-time position. External candidates may work remotely if they are within a reasonable driving distance of a Pentair facility. Travel of 30% is required for go-lives and hyper-care at a Pentair facility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of professional experience in related fields, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with GTS and SAP S/4HANA processes.
At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, with direct involvement in GTS process design and deployment.
Experience working in Agile environments and with project management tools such as Jira, Azure, Scrum, or Kanban.
Strong knowledge of trade compliance, including preference management, sanction party screening, product classification, license controls, and integrations with other SAP modules and external systems.
Proficiency in configuring and testing GTS and SAP S/4HANA modules.
Experience developing functional specifications, test scripts, and process documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to travel 30% for go-lives and hyper-care at a Pentair facility.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders and SAP functional teams to analyze requirements and design, develop, and test SAP solutions supporting core GTS processes.
Gather and prioritize business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and identify process-improvement and automation opportunities.
Lead and support GTS-related projects and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Perform hands-on GTS configuration, testing, and maintenance.
Drive fit-gap analysis, solution design, and preparation of functional specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to design end-to-end processes and integrations.
Lead or contribute to unit and integration testing, UAT coordination, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and test scripts.
Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to influence GTS process strategy in alignment with enterprise goals.
Drive continuous improvement to optimize system performance and enhance user experience.
Provide functional expertise and production support for GTS processes, including incident resolution and break-fix solutions.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing.
