About The Position

Pentair is hiring a permanent, direct-hire Senior SAP Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for the Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) workstream. Reporting to the EWM Global Business Process Owner - Delivery SAP S/4HANA, the analyst will lead and support implementation projects, conduct gap analyses, provide project and production support, and contribute to Pentair’s multi-year global SAP S/4HANA migration initiative. External candidates may work remotely if they are within a reasonable driving distance of a Pentair facility. The role requires 30% travel to Pentair facilities for go-lives and hyper-care. The analyst partners with business stakeholders and SAP functional teams to analyze requirements and design, develop, configure, and test SAP solutions for EWM and inventory management processes. The position includes hands-on SAP S/4HANA configuration, functional expertise, project delivery, testing, documentation, process improvement, incident resolution, and mentoring. The anticipated annualized base pay range is $82,300–$152,800, and the position may be eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of professional experience in related fields.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM processes.
At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, with direct involvement in EWM process design and deployment.
Experience working in Agile environments and with project management tools such as Jira, Scrum, or Kanban.
Strong knowledge of EWM processes and integrations with other SAP modules and external systems.
Proficiency in configuration and testing of SAP S/4HANA EWM modules.
Experience developing functional specifications, test scripts, and process documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to travel 30%.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders and SAP functional teams to analyze requirements and design, develop, and test SAP solutions supporting core EWM and inventory management processes.
Gather and prioritize business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and identify process-improvement and automation opportunities.
Lead and support EWM-related projects and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
Configure SAP S/4HANA for inbound and outbound processes, delivery, cycle counting, warehouse setup, and internal and external material movement.
Drive fit-gap analysis, solution design, and preparation of functional specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to design end-to-end processes and integrations.
Lead or contribute to unit and integration testing, UAT coordination, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and test scripts.
Recommend best practices and innovative solutions to influence EWM process strategy in alignment with enterprise goals.
Drive continuous improvement to optimize system performance and user experience.
Provide EWM functional expertise and production support, including incident resolution and break-fix solutions.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing.
Travel 30% for go-lives and hyper-care at Pentair facilities.
