About The Position

The Config Team is seeking a Senior SAP AMS Support Consultant with expertise in SAP EWM. This role is for individuals who enjoy working with a portfolio of long-term clients and prefer a predominantly remote work environment with sensible hours, avoiding the constant travel associated with project-based work. The position focuses on the Application Management Services (AMS) space, involving incident resolution, problem management, service request delivery, and SAP EWM solution development. The role requires collaboration with other functional and technical teams, oversight and delivery of documentation to high standards, and providing support, coaching, mentoring, development, and guidance to colleagues. The position offers variety through multiple clients, configurations, and industries, with opportunities for both technical development and growth beyond technical expertise.

Requirements

Experienced within SAP EWM functionality and configuration.
A valid UK driving licence.
A comprehensive understanding of SAP EWM and its impact on business processes.
Experienced in delivering on customer change requests within a project or AMS environment.
Deep understanding of core supply chain processes, including demand planning and supply.
Expertise in integrating with different and complex SAP modules.

Nice To Haves

Previous Support Desk experience within an ITIL environment.
Functional experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
Experience in a SAP consulting environment.
Experience with S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor within the AMS space.
Be involved in incident resolution.
Manage problems effectively.
Ensure efficient delivery of service requests.
Develop SAP EWM solutions.
Collaborate effectively with other functional and technical teams, including consulting teams.
Provide oversight and delivery of documentation, ensuring high standards.
