About The Position

The Senior Salesforce Solutions Consultant at Abstrakt Marketing Group serves as the primary trusted advisor to clients, guiding strategic Salesforce decisions and translating business goals into scalable platform solutions. This is a client-facing, solution-first role where the consultant is the expert voice clients rely on to maximize their investment in Salesforce. Working closely with Client Success Managers, the consultant will lead discovery conversations, architect solutions across multiple Salesforce Clouds, produce detailed scopes of work, and provide hands-on technical oversight to ensure delivery teams execute to the highest standards. The role requires comfort in presenting to VPs of Sales and reviewing data models with developers. The ideal candidate brings a consulting mindset first, having navigated complex client relationships, led requirements discovery, and communicated technical tradeoffs in business language. Deep Salesforce platform expertise is essential, but the ability to advise, influence, and guide is what sets this role apart from a purely technical build position.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of leading technical discovery, scoping, and estimation for client engagements.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and level-of-effort estimates.
  • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge including architecture, data modeling, security model, and integration patterns.
  • Experience creating ERDs, technical design documents, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication skills — ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and provide guidance to technical delivery resources.
  • Candidates must hold a minimum of four (4) active Salesforce certifications. At least two (2) must come from the specialized list below.
  • At least two from: Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect, Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist, Data Analyst, or Consultant), Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Agentforce Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Salesforce partner, consulting firm, or managed services environment strongly preferred.
  • A strong consulting background may be considered alongside certification requirements for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior strategic advisor on client engagements, guiding Salesforce roadmap decisions aligned to business goals.
  • Lead client discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to surface requirements, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in clear business language to executive, operational, and technical audiences.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships by demonstrating deep platform knowledge and proactive strategic thinking.
  • Partner with Client Success Managers on calls, positioning Salesforce solutions in the context of each client’s unique business.
  • Lead scoping and estimation efforts for new implementations, enhancements, and change orders.
  • Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), level-of-effort assessments, and solution assumptions to support new business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to define solution scope, risks, dependencies, and recommended approach.
  • Provide architectural recommendations and present solution options with clear tradeoffs to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Design scalable, best-practice Salesforce architectures across but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Data 360.
  • Create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), technical design documents, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Define integration architecture for external systems using APIs, middleware, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce security models, data governance standards, and performance best practices.
  • Break scoped projects into phased work plans and actionable delivery items.
  • Provide technical oversight of configuration, automation, integrations, and custom development produced by delivery teams.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and validate all deliverables against defined scope and client expectations.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement across client engagements.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge across Salesforce Clouds and stay current on product releases, new features, and industry trends.
  • Guide best-practice implementations across Revenue Operations, Marketing Automation, analytics, and data platforms.
  • Recommend innovative opportunities to clients based on emerging Salesforce capabilities.
