About The Position

The client is seeking a contract Salesforce Solution Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for child welfare program applications. The role supports mission-critical public-sector programs across case management, licensing, service operations, and related workflows. The position ensures solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy while using declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration, customization, and solution design.
• At least 5 years of strong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration development in enterprise environments.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting public-sector, regulated, or compliance-heavy programs, or equivalent experience in complex multi-team environments.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams in a senior or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best-fit approaches.
• Lead integration designs, blueprinting, and configuration strategies.
• Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
• Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts; assess how platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
• Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
