About The Position

Gravie is seeking an AI-forward Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, build, and support business-critical Salesforce solutions and the integrations and APIs that connect Salesforce to other systems. The engineer will use AI-assisted and agentic development tools in everyday work, applying human review, testing, and security safeguards. The role involves working directly with internal stakeholders to collaborate on and resolve issues in real time, and owning outcomes rather than simply completing tickets. The engineer will develop solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio, Sales Cloud, and Health Cloud, along with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and SOQL. The role includes new development and ongoing production ownership in a healthcare environment, including participation in an on-call rotation. Web technologies such as React and TypeScript and backend service development may also be relevant. The position also includes contributing reusable AI-assisted workflows, evaluating Salesforce AI capabilities such as Agentforce for business needs, supporting releases and deployments, and participating in Agile delivery, mentoring, and improvements to engineering standards.

  • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools in daily development, with sound judgment in reviewing, testing, and securing AI-generated code.
  • Deep Salesforce platform expertise, including OmniStudio, Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, data modeling, and platform security.
  • Experience building Salesforce integrations and APIs, including REST, events, integration tools, and common data exchange patterns.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical decisions and explain options and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical partners.
  • Collaborative working style, with the ability to work independently, mentor other engineers, and raise engineering standards.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools to design, build, test, document, and maintain Salesforce solutions, with appropriate human review and security safeguards.
  • Drive work using multiple AI agents and subagents, and build and share reusable AI-assisted workflows, prompts, agents, and test and review automation.
  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions, APIs, integrations, custom web applications, and backend services as needed.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio, Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, and other platform capabilities.
  • Build secure and reliable integrations between Salesforce, internal applications, data platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Evaluate business and technical needs and choose among Salesforce configuration, custom Salesforce development, a separate application, or an integration.
  • Deliver new features and support production systems, including participating in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents, and resolving issues with lasting fixes.
  • Write automated tests, review code, maintain technical documentation, and follow security and privacy requirements for healthcare and insurance data.
  • Run Salesforce releases and deployments using Salesforce CLI or custom application delivery processes, version control, and tools such as Copado.
  • Participate in Agile planning and delivery, mentor other engineers, share knowledge, and help improve engineering standards.
