About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer with deep, specialized expertise in Apex development to lead, optimize, and secure our enterprise Salesforce environment for a global travel technology platform. In this high-impact role, you will take technical ownership of end-to-end Salesforce application development, security architectures, and CI/CD release management. Working closely with developers, administrators, and product stakeholders in an Agile environment, you will build high-performing, scalable solutions designed to handle complex data structures, mitigate record locking, and enforce strict platform security standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 4+ years dedicated to Salesforce platform engineering
  • Expert-level hands-on mastery of Apex development, with a strict focus on writing secure, maintainable, and high-performance code (MUST)
  • Demonstrated experience enforcing Salesforce platform security standards, including sharing rules, field-level security, permission sets, and managed package constraints
  • Proven track record managing Salesforce CI/CD release pipelines and deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SFDX, and VS Code
  • Solid background in performance optimization, governor limit management, and record locking mitigation within complex, high-transaction Salesforce orgs
  • Advanced Apex & Salesforce Platform (MUST): Deep expertise in Apex (Triggers, Asynchronous Apex, Batchable, Queueable, Apex REST/SOAP), SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX), Git workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket), Jenkins, and VS Code
  • Platform Security & Governance: Strong command of Sharing Rules, Role Hierarchy, Field-Level Security, Permission Sets, and Managed Packages
  • Performance & Data Quality: Expertise in record locking resolution, transaction optimization, unit testing, and governor limit management
  • Web Fundamentals: Core web development skills including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful API integrations
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and decision-making capabilities within structured development processes
  • High degree of technical autonomy, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Frontend framework experience using Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript
  • Experience with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap) and CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less)
  • Familiarity with package managers like NPM or Yarn
  • Official Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II)

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Salesforce applications with a primary emphasis on advanced Apex coding patterns
  • Own the full software development lifecycle—from technical design and implementation through CI/CD release pipelines and production support
  • Design and maintain automated deployment workflows, version control integration, and release procedures using Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, and VS Code
  • Implement and enforce platform security models, object/field-level permissions, and managed package integrations
  • Monitor system logs, diagnose execution anomalies, and resolve record locking and query performance bottlenecks in complex org architectures
  • Collaborate across cross-functional Agile teams to translate business requirements into clean, high-performance technical solutions
