About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to serve as a Technical Oversight Specialist, responsible for ensuring the quality, security, and effectiveness of Salesforce implementations delivered by an external vendor. This role is ideal for a highly experienced architect who excels in technical governance, vendor oversight, and enterprise solution design. You will act as the technical authority, ensuring all deliverables align with best practices, compliance standards, and business objectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture
  • 3+ years in a senior architect or technical lead capacity
  • Experience working with and managing external vendors or partners
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-level Salesforce implementations
  • Experience in highly regulated or secure environments preferred
  • Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data models, and large data volumes
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Copado or Flosum
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (required)
  • Minimum of 3 additional Salesforce certifications
  • Active certification maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to evaluate and challenge technical decisions effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority for all Salesforce architecture decisions
  • Review and approve solution designs prior to implementation
  • Conduct code reviews and technical audits of vendor deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, scalability, and performance standards
  • Evaluate vendor deliverables against defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Validate estimates, timelines, and technical approaches
  • Provide constructive feedback and resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure accountability for quality and delivery outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate technical and security risks
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security and regulatory standards
  • Review data protection strategies, including access controls and encryption
  • Monitor and reduce technical debt
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide recommendations on build vs. buy vs. configure approaches
  • Identify opportunities to leverage platform capabilities and enhancements
  • Promote standardization and reusability across solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and complex solutions when required
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
