About The Position

Spotify is seeking a Senior Sales Trainer for its Advertising team. This role is part of the Sales Training & Enablement team, which designs and delivers learning experiences to enhance the performance of Spotify's global Sales organization. The team collaborates with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, and Business Marketing to create programs that support the growth of Spotify's advertising business. The trainer will focus on product enablement, ensuring sellers are confident, informed, and customer-focused. This position is based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA, offering flexibility with a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to come into the local office twice a week, with potential for up to 25% travel. Spotify is committed to inclusivity and accessibility throughout its recruitment process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, product enablement, product marketing, ad operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with advertising products, ad platforms, programmatic solutions, measurement products, or digital media offerings.
  • Understanding of how to simplify complex product information into clear, actionable guidance for commercial teams.
  • Passion for helping sellers understand customer needs and how products solve business problems.
  • Experience supporting product launches, change management, or go-to-market readiness initiatives.
  • Ability to build engaging learning experiences across different audiences, roles, and learning styles.
  • Comfort facilitating trainings and presenting to both small and large groups.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, launches, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience supporting vendor or partner sales organizations globally.
  • Experience in media sales, media buying, or digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global product enablement initiatives across Spotify Advertising, supporting sellers across multiple regions, segments, and roles.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Business Operations, Product, and Sales Leadership to support go-to-market readiness for new ad products, features, tools, and process updates.
  • Design and deliver training programs that help sellers understand, position, and operationalize Spotify’s advertising solutions.
  • Translate complex product concepts and workflows into clear, practical, seller-friendly guidance.
  • Build and maintain scalable enablement resources including playbooks, launch materials, product documentation, FAQs, talk tracks, and self-service learning content.
  • Support enablement for both internal sales teams and external/vendor partner organizations globally.
  • Create role-specific product training experiences tailored to different sales motions and audiences.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions for new product launches, onboarding, and ongoing product education.
  • Reinforce key sales skills including storytelling, discovery, objection handling, and translating product capabilities into customer value.
  • Measure program effectiveness and gather seller feedback to continuously improve enablement strategies and resources.
