MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst I to support MaxLinear’s global sales organization. In this role, you will focus on critical forecasting, channel operations, and sales analytics processes. This includes monthly forecasting for all regions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement. You will own revenue forecast consensus meetings, including preparation and presentation of variance analyses, and ensure forecasts actively drive customer orders and support responses to supply chain constraints. The role also involves supporting corporate forecasting, improving alignment and communication, and performing revenue, sell-through, and forecast accuracy analysis. Additionally, you will support Adexa demand planning maintenance, enhancements, and defect resolution, analyze distributor data, and develop reports/dashboards for margin, inventory turns, bookings, billings, backlog, and POS data. You will also standardize QBRs, track partner progress, and aggregate results, support broad market forecasting, and develop reporting to measure channel forecast accuracy and drive improvements. Further responsibilities include supporting channel promotions and partner programs to drive growth initiatives, identifying gaps in the samples process and coordinating improvements, and administering third-party manufacturer rep commission programs, including preparing monthly commission calculations and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely payments. This involves commission variance analysis to identify drivers of payment changes, supporting audit and management review, and maintaining commission input files that feed the Alteryx model, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Finally, you will develop, maintain, and deliver training for channel partners and internal stakeholders, and optimize customer support routing for RFQs and product inquiries.
