About The Position

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining the plan for their assigned team and implementing departmental procedures. This role involves staffing, planning, controlling, and directing the activities of a sales force of Sales Executives and sales management to achieve high sales volume. The Senior Sales Manager supervises and leads all aspects of sales activity for a specific team, supports sales in developing competitive strategies, and challenges existing processes to find innovative solutions that improve business results, customer experience, and efficiencies. They will also focus on developing the team to maximize production and efficiencies, exceed monthly volume production targets, and coordinate new hire and advanced training initiatives with the Trainer & Talent Development team. Additionally, the role includes conducting mentorship and reviews, leading advanced sales training, coaching and developing the sales team for current needs and future leadership, conducting motivational sales meetings, holding the team accountable for policies and procedures, and generating maximum performance through predefined metrics.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Sales Manager in timeshare industry.
  • Timeshare experience required.
  • Strong ability to recruit, train, and motivate individuals in the field of direct phone sales.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and leads all aspects of sales activity on a specific team.
  • Support sales in crafting competitive, breakthrough strategies and plans.
  • Support the team by challenging the way things have always been done; looking at problems, processes and solutions in new ways; and identifying novel solutions to old problems by trying new methods and technologies.
  • Develop the team to acquire maximum production and efficiencies.
  • Exceed the set monthly volume production on the floor.
  • Schedule/Coordinate all new hire & advanced training.
  • Conduct mentorship and reviews with select Sales Executives.
  • Leads advanced sales training for Sales Executives when necessary and helps to develop monthly training calendar.
  • Coaches, develops, empowers measures, monitors and mentors the sales team for current business needs and future leadership positions to support succession planning.
  • Conduct motivational, substantial morning sales meetings.
  • Runs the team and holds them accountable for adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Generates maximum performance in the sales force by utilizing predefined metrics.
