About The Position

C-4 Analytics is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead one of its sales teams and manage its revenue generation. This role requires a strong focus on process, metrics, and mentorship, with the primary goal of ensuring sales representatives consistently execute proven methodologies to drive new business across the entire sales lifecycle. The Senior Sales Manager will lead a consultative sales process, focusing on daily hands-on execution to translate complex solutions into critical business outcomes for their team. The company prioritizes local candidates for its Wakefield, MA office but is open to exceptional remote candidates. The role involves managing, training, and guiding sales team members, driving engagement through a hands-on approach, and ensuring all outreach aligns with company standards. The manager will also partner with internal stakeholders to drive territory management, target account development, and messaging. Pipeline development, CRM data accuracy, and deal intervention are key responsibilities, as is collaborating with Sales Operations and Presentation teams to optimize sales tools and reporting. The role also requires supporting executive sales leadership through flawless execution and reporting from the sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional training.
  • 7+ years of combined inside and outside sales experience, specifically within the digital marketing and automotive industries.
  • 5+ years managing B2B sales reps, having led a team of 5–10 quota-carrying representatives and leading them to achieve and exceed quota targets.
  • Proven history of successfully leading high-performing sales teams through key behavioral changes.
  • Must be process-driven and metrics-obsessed, comfortable running a structured daily/weekly/monthly cadence and reading a HubSpot or Salesforce dashboard like a coach reads game film.
  • Has run or worked inside a structured operating cadence (e.g., EOS, MEDDIC, scorecard-based reviews, weekly L10s) and is proficient with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce as a manager—not just a user.
  • Must be able to run a deal review without taking over the deal.
  • Comfortable holding people accountable, delivering hard feedback without flinching, and moving quickly on a bad fit.
  • Affinity for the auto industry or adjacent experience (e.g., dealer technology, digital media) is required, but deep expertise is not necessary.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including regular travel to Wakefield, MA, to support client deals and company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Fully manage, train, and guide sales team members with a hands-on approach.
  • Drive outside sales rep engagement by helping them succeed.
  • Ensure all outreach, from cold calling to in-person presentations, aligns with company standards and proven methodologies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales Ops, Marketing, and Business Development to drive territory management, target account development, and high-impact messaging for key markets.
  • Oversee the pipeline development process through hands-on leadership support with the team.
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate CRM data.
  • Complete all assigned tasks to support the execution of sales consultants.
  • Consistently support consultants to conduct deal reviews.
  • Intervene in stalled deals.
  • Represent the company at high-stakes strategy meetings and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Presentation teams to ensure all sales tools and reporting reflect a strong ROI and the key strategies necessary to close the deal.
  • Support executive sales leadership and the executive team strategies by ensuring flawless execution and reporting from your sales team.
