What You Will Do: Secure large group business by prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and aligning sales efforts with the hotel’s business plan. Represent the hotel at tradeshows, client events, and brand forums to grow visibility and strengthen key partnerships (travel required). Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that drive revenue, meet volume patterns, and support long-term success. Stay active in industry organizations like MPI, PCMA, or ASAE to expand your network and uncover new opportunities. Collaborate closely with operations and revenue teams to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and flawlessly executed. Keep sales action plans and CRM systems up to date, using data and insights to stay one step ahead of market trends.
