Our legal division supports attorneys and legal professionals with high-quality on-site, video remote, telephonic interpretation, document translation, and multilingual litigation support services. We combine responsive customer service, cutting-edge technology, and experienced linguists to help our clients communicate clearly when it matters most. We are now expanding aggressively across the Chicagoland and Midwest legal markets and are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Development Executive who knows how to build relationships, earn trust, and generate long-term business inside the legal community. This is not a transactional sales role. We are looking for someone who understands how to develop firms into long-term strategic accounts. This is a field-based growth role for a senior business developer who can open doors, build trust quickly, and convert law firms into recurring strategic accounts. The primary target segments include Personal Injury firms, Workers’ Compensation firms, Auto Accident practices, Litigation-focused firms, Legal support organizations, and Court reporting and litigation service environments. The role owns Chicagoland business development and supports expansion across priority Midwest markets, with selective growth opportunities in national legal hubs. We are intentionally seeking someone located outside downtown Chicago, but within driving distance for regular in-person visits throughout the region.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales success in legal services, court reporting, litigation support, legal technology, or a closely related professional services environment
  • Executive presence, strong communication, and the ability to build credibility quickly
  • Disciplined prospecting, pipeline management, and follow-through
  • Negotiation skill, closing ability, and a strategic account growth mindset
  • Operational maturity and cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and service teams

Nice To Haves

  • Existing legal industry network strongly preferred
  • Experience and adaptability with CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Experience in interpretation, translation, or language services is highly valued

Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new business opportunities within the legal sector
  • Prospect daily through calls, emails, referrals, networking, and in-person outreach
  • Build relationships with personal injury, workers’ compensation, and litigation-focused firms
  • Create and execute territory growth strategies
  • Maintain a disciplined and active sales pipeline within the CRM
  • Coordinate client onboarding and ensure smooth implementation
  • Partner with operations and customer success teams to deliver outstanding client experiences
  • Conduct regular client visits and account reviews
  • Upsell and cross-sell interpretation and translation services
  • Represent Interprenet at legal industry associations and networking events
  • Track market intelligence, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
