About The Position

We are excited to bring on a Senior Sales Executive to join our Group Protection Distribution Team supporting Workplace Solutions in Arizona. As Sr. Group Benefits Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas or objectives by working directly with groups in the assigned territory. You will work with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, Plan Sponsors and Participants in the assigned territory to increase sales revenue and market share in offering our ancillary products. This opportunity will provide the ability to grow within the group insurance industry while gaining new skills and building strong working relationships.

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
  • 5+ Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Licenses required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with brokers, consultants, advisors, and employer groups to expand Lincoln's Group Benefits business.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy that drives new business, increases market share, and helps you exceed sales goals.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities by understanding your market, prospecting target firms, and positioning Lincoln's employee benefits solutions.
  • Become a trusted benefits expert, educating partners on Lincoln's products, services, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless experience from sale through implementation and ongoing service.
  • Strengthen and expand existing relationships by identifying retention, cross-sell, and growth opportunities.
  • Represent Lincoln in the marketplace through client meetings, industry events, networking opportunities, and professional organizations.
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to help shape sales strategies, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a positive experience for partners and clients.
  • Track activity, manage your pipeline, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
