About The Position

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Majors West team. This is a remote role reporting to the Manager of Sales Engineering. The Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team is a global group of professionals dedicated to customer satisfaction, nurturing partnerships, and driving a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. This team includes Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships, all collaborating to showcase the power and agility of Zscaler's cloud transformation. The role involves creating and delivering technical product presentations, gathering customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet their goals, leading product evaluations, and designing custom product configurations. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, act with ownership and a bias for action, be a problem-solver energized by challenges, demonstrate customer obsession, and be resilient and adaptable in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience
Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls

Nice To Haves

Industry standard certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+

Responsibilities

Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes
